Mite Check Tutorial
During a honey flow your mite population can quickly out number your bee population if it goes unchecked. Because of this, we strongly recommend doing an alcohol wash after harvesting your honey. This requires killing a sample of approximately 300 bees, but it’s better than losing an entire hive to mite damage.
